A deposit of one night’s stay is required and is applied to the balance due on your scheduled departure day.
Cancellations and Refunds
Carter Notch Inn is a small privately owned business. Due to the size of our B&B cancellations greatly affect us. We never overbook our property, consequently when we guarantee an accommodation we miss the opportunity to book that room to others.
We strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. A cancellation fee of $25 per room within any time frame will be forfeited. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded if booking is cancelled 15 days prior to your arrival date.
If a booked room is cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival date the entire deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of intended arrival date you will be responsible for the cost of the entire stay.
We do not offer refunds for late arrivals or early departures. If a guest departs prior to reserved length of stay the charge for the entire stay will be forfeited.
Booking in advance is always advisable to ensure your preferred room is available. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have about the rooms. All have central air conditioning and the property is smoke free. The Carter Notch Inn has a strict no smoking policy anywhere in the building. To maintain the historic charm of the Carter Notch Inn, we do not encourage children under the age of 12 or guest pets onto the property.
This is our home and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
