This waterfront Hood Canal vacation rental truly is Nature's paradise. With the Olympic National Park at the 'back door', and the Dosewallips Wildlife Estuary right in front. From the deck you will be able to see many different birds such as the American Bald Eagle, an occasional golden eagles, lots of herons, etc. Often you will be able to see otters, seal and if you are watching at the exact right moment a pod of Orcas (June/Aug). The local Elk herd can usually be found around town, the state park or just hanging around the yards. Lots of Family-friendly activities like hiking, shell fishing, boating, and much more within a short distance. With the beautiful views from the many windows, and the large deck you might not want to leave. The sunsets over Hood Canal are amazing so maybe just sit and enjoy, or a relaxing walk on the beach. The Lookout on Hood Canal provides breathtaking view of the Canal and is conveniently located Close to Olympic National Park, Murhut Falls, Mt. Walker and other trailheads. The living room has an open-concept living area, with a warm welcome feel from the nautical décor of the home, including a nice telescope perched and ready for you to use. You can step outside from the front room to a wonderful wrap around deck to enjoy the view, including birds (lots of Bald Eagles), seals, otters, and often our local herd of Elk will wonder to the water for a refreshing drink.
