Children - We have a pool...no lifeguard on duty. An adult must be present at all times with children who are not experienced swimmers. This is a working ranch, and we have large animals (horses & cows) that are 'people-friendly', and smaller creatures that might not be 'people friendly'. It's best for an adult to accompany young children on excursions until you are comfortable that they are safe on the ranch.

Pets- We once had a 'Hotel for Dogs' in a fenced in area....but found that these pet children preferred to be with their parents....so we're converting the Doggie Hotel to a home for tiny goats. IF you can kennel your pets in your room at night, and can PROMISE me that they will NEVER get on the beds or furniture, bring them with you and they can stay in your room. And you are welcome to have them enjoy walking around the ranch with you....and staying out on the porches with you during the day. Just make sure they don't run away!
NO SWIMMING ALLOWED FOR PETS....AND SORRY, BUT NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE TREEHOUSE....EVER!
